For the third consecutive year, Canon Europe worked with Imagination to create a stand at photokina to engage with industry, trade, professionals and consumers who shared a passion for photography.
The photography and imaging business has experienced considerable change in recent years. Technology and the use of camera phones have been at the forefront of this change. Canon has always sought to embrace this change through technology and ingenuity.
Visitors were brought closer than ever to the Canon brand and encouraged to share content through RFID and connected technology. Activations such as Capture Cam, Speed Challenge, Kit Bag Configurator, Mirror House, Mako Speed Challenge, Shoot in the dark and Gladiator Face gave visitors plenty of memorable content to experience and share and those unable to attend were able to enjoy the experience through the virtual 360 tour and Canon Live TV reported daily with coverage on Canon’s YouTube channel.
